Residential Property Management has been serving the Columbia Metro area since 2015 and has grown from a handful of properties into a company with dozens of individual Columbia-area properties being managed for owners living all over the United States; RPM also handles HOA management for local communities. 


Here are answers to the main questions RPM is asked by property owners when they are considering a management company:

1. What does the management fee cover?

RPM handles the rental process from beginning to end, including the tenant search, background and credit checks, move-in, rent collection, repair issues, and move-out;

2. How much is your management fee?

RPM charges a low 7% fee to property owners, with the only exception being for the first full month that rent is collected. In the first full month of a tenant's stay, RPM will keep 50% of the rent to compensate for listing the property and securing the tenant.

3. How user-friendly is the process? I don't have time to think about this or I would do it myself.

Everything can be done online, from collecting rent from the tenant to disbursing owner income each month. Owners and tenants alike are able to log in to a portal to get an accurate picture of the financial and maintenance life of the property.
